I'm a little crunchy and a little country. I'm a little woo-woo with a heavy dose of diet coke
There was a time when life moved fast, plans were clear, and the future felt predictable. Then, everything changed.
When my husband Trevor faced heart failure and ultimately a heart transplant, the pace of our family of 5 was forced to slow in a way we never expected. Suddenly, health wasn't an abstract idea - it was something we were navigating every single day. We learned to listen more closely, rest more deeply, and pay attention to what truly mattered. Survival brought perspective. Healing brought humility.
In the aftermath, we chose a quieter life. We built our home on family property in rural Idaho that has been in my family since my grandparents immigrated from the Basque Country in the 1950s. We are surrounded by open land, animals, and the steady rhythms of nature. Days become less about doing more, and more about being present. Meals are now slower. Rest is no longer optional, it's essential.
That season taught me that wellness isn't about perfection or being trendy. It's about safety, nervous system support, and creating environments where the body can soften and heal. Living this way- close to the land, close to family, close to what is REAL- reshaped how I see care, health, and the way we move through this world.
The Shift that Changed it All
The slower, more intentional way of living naturally made its way into my career.
As a stylist, I began to look at hair c are through a much wider lens. I became deeply aware of what we absorb through our skin, how stress lives in the body, and how often beauty services overlook the nervous system altogether. Ingredient choices started to matter more. Pace started to matter more. How a client felt during and after an appointment became just as important as the final result.
Today, my work blends elevated hair services with a wellness-guided approach. I offer ingredient-conscious color, holistic scalp facials, and grounding rituals designed to support both hair health and the body as a whole. Every product I use is chosen thoughtfully. Every service is delivered with intention. Nothing is rushed.
When you sit in my chair, the goal isn't just beautiful hair- it's to create a space where you can relax, feel safe, and trust that you're being cared for with honesty and respect. Whether you're here for color, scalp care, or quiet restoration, my hope is that you leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
This work is an extension of the life we've built- slower, steadier, rooted in care. And I am honored to share it with you.
How my Work Evolved with Me
fun
facts
I grew up craving to live in a big city with a fast paced life, and ended up on my family farm with highland cows and beyond happy!
I am half Basque, my grandparents immigrated from the Basque Country and I was raised on lamb basque dancing! My kids now dance and are learning all about our incredible culture!
My husband was a submariner and a Chief in the US Navy for almost 9 years and got medically retired due to going into heart failure. We lived on both sides of the country and had made some incredible friends along the way!
I LOVE diet coke...it is my vice! I live a (mostly) sober lifestyle, prioritize movement, and spend as much time as we can outside on our property! I am a great mix of a homebody and socialite!
